Toms River Farmers Market - Why Wouldn't You?

The Toms River Farmers Market is held from noon to 6pm every Wednesday (starting this past Wed.) through Oct. 24th. It is in Huddy Park, and you can park your car right there in the Robbins Parkway lot.
Now, your mother always told us to eat our vegetables, but very few us do. Why not do yourself a favor and get some farm-fresh vegetables at the Market? They even have organically grown fruits and vegetables, if you want to get the best health benefits. Additional vendors have honey, pasta, nuts, and much more.
With the stuff that's good for you conveniently right around the corner -- why wouldn't you go?

I LOVE the Farmers Market!! It's great to get FRESH veggies like NJ corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, etc. Plus you are helping the NJ farmer survive in this so called "Garden State". You certainly CAN'T get fresher veggies in the food stores around here.

Agreed.

This food is probably better than the junk food in your local gas station or Wawa.

Probably.

I Love fresh fruits & Veggies -- so much so I'm starting a Co-Op Pod of Organic Fruits & Vegetables in Toms River! It's not a buisness! I'm not making money!
Just getting a Pod and sharing it with other families! If interested

I visited the farmer's market yesterday and blogged about it at househubbie's home cooking. It was great!
